Bradstone supports young gardeners at Ideal Home Show

Domestic hard landscaping specialist Bradstone, has supported the Ideal Young Gardener of the Year Awards 2016 by supplying a selection of paving, walling and other decorative landscaping features for the students to get creative with.

The awards, now in their sixth year, celebrate the best of British young talent in garden design. The resulting ‘Ideal Show Gardens’ created by the students are a highlight for visitors looking for tips and inspiration on creating the perfect outdoor space.

ChichesterBradstone commercial director Toby Stuart-Jervis commented: “We are proud to again be supporting the Young Gardener of the Year competition, in partnership with celebrity TV garden designer David Domoney.

“This year, we provided students from Chichester College with our Smooth Natural Sandstone spinning circle in Dune, along with Madoc garden walling and Smooth Natural Sandstone in Modac used as coping stones. We also sent Natural Sandstone in Heather Ridge to Pershore College, Highland Pebbles and Scottish Cobbles to the students of Capel Manor College, and we donated Nordic Stone Chips to Shuttleworth College.

“We have been very impressed with each college’s creation, however we would like to say a big congratulations to the students of Askham Bryan College, unveiled this weekend as the 2016 Ideal Young Gardeners of the Year.”

The Ideal Home Show at Olympia London is a popular event in the consumer home interest calendar. Having attracted over a quarter of a million visitors last year, Bradstone describes it as a ‘tremendous platform’ to promote its range and offer homeowners ideas on how they can enhance their gardens.
