Woodlodge raises £1,000 for Greenfingers with fire pit raffle

Garden pots and gardenware supplier Woodlodge has raised almost £1,000 for the Greenfingers charity through a raffle hosted at Glee 2016.

greenfingers-raffle-2016Celebrating the fifth year of supporting Greenfingers, Woodlodge sold raffle tickets throughout the show in aid of the organisation dedicated to creating magical gardens for children who spend time in hospices.

The lucky winner received a selection of alcoholic delights piled high in Woodlodge’s Glastonbury fire pit, which is part of the newly launched Rustic Burner collection.

Woodlodge director Michael Wooldridge commented: “The high level of engagement from this year’s Glee attendees was fantastic and we’re thankful to everyone who got involved with the raffle. Greenfingers charity is a very valuable organisation and it’s an honour to support its inspiring work again this year.”

Greenfingers head of fundraising Linda Petrons added: “We are delighted that Woodlodge once again supported Greenfingers at Glee with the boozy FUNdraiser. It’s a great way to raise awareness of our work and the money raised will make a real difference, helping Greenfingers continue creating magical gardens for children who spend time in hospices across the UK.”
