Deco-Pak has appointed a new national sales and key account manager, with Rod Slater, previously the decorative aggregate specialist’s general manager, becoming company director.
For customers, Deco-Pak says that this represents a move to more efficient and more experienced company structure, with the appointment simultaneously freeing founder Mike Hall to take on the role of chairman.
Bruce Atkinson, formerly of Pacific Lifestyle, comes to the company with over 15 years’ garden industry sales experience. As Deco-Pak’s national sales and key accounts manager, his appointment will be seen as a statement of intent from the West Yorkshire based company in terms of expansion and growth across its key product categories of landscaping, gardening and wild bird care.
Bruce is currently working with a number of national retailers, garden centre chains, developing bespoke ranges and point of sale, the company adds.
