New buyer joins award winning garden centre
Published:  01 May, 2008

Grosvenor Garden Centre has welcomed a new addition to its team with the appointment of Emma Anzani as new Lifestyle and Seasonal Buyer.

An International Business Studies graduate, Emma joins Grosvenor from De Vere Hotels where she gained valuable experience in project management and purchasing of a wide range of quality and luxury goods.

In her new role as Grosvenor's Lifestyle and Seasonal Buyer, Emma will be responsible for enhancing all non-gardening product ranges including garden furniture, giftware, Christmas and food.

Emma's appointment follows a highly successful time for the Chester-based garden centre. The centre has seen a successful expansion of its offering over the past 12 months which has included the introduction of a monthly Farmers' Market, a new food department and a brand new company website.

Recently, Grosvenor also became the first ever garden centre to receive the prestigious Garden Centre of Excellence award for the eighth consecutive year. The honour comes on the back of winning a gold award in the "Best Use of Space" category at the Garden Retail Awards last year.

Commenting on her appointment, Emma said: "I'm very pleased to be joining Grosvenor during what is a very exciting time for the centre. Grosvenor's reputation is on the rise, which was emphasised with the recent Garden Centre of Excellence Award. The success is set to continue and I look forward to enhancing Grosvenor's offering even further."
