At Open Retail we already support some existing AIS full members in the toy and clothing retail sectors. It was natural to offer the same AIS product ranges to the GRO garden centre membership. Using excel spreadsheets can save hours of product data entry.
David Danning , GRO chairman and owner of Trelawney Garden Leisure, says: "We are using the Open Retail Epos solution and create new products using supplier spreadsheets. As they were already dealing with AIS members it has allowed us to have access to the AIS range of cenpac suppliers data by downloading from the AIS website."
Lynette Hayes, AIS Database Project, says: "We are keen to add additional garden centres and the cenpac suppliers they use, and hope the garden centre membership will grow with AIS."
