The unique patented Aqua Valve at the bottom allows waste materials to pass into the filter, but prevents it from dumping back into the aquarium. Therefore, unlike almost every other filter on the market, the PF filter range allows you to simply turn the filter off, and remove the body for cleaning, without seeing the removed waste dropping back into your clean aquarium.
