Haddonstone set to launch new products at GLEE
Published:  20 September, 2008

Haddonstone, the UK's leading manufacturer of fine garden ornaments, is launching new products at GLEE including contemporary planters, classical fountains and gothic garden furniture.

The Large Key Planter is a new addition to Haddonstone's contemporary range complimenting the popular smaller design. Based on a Greek key motif design it is perfect for a terrace, swimming pool or patio. Other additions to the contemporary collection include the Small and Medium Octagonal Jardinières, which are additions to the existing Large Octagonal Jardinière. These large planters are suitable for both domestic and commercial applications.

The most innovative product to be launched at the show is the Italian Quadrant Planter. The planter can be supplied in one, two, three or four segments making it incredibly versatile. One can neatly fit into a corner; two against a wall; three or four can be used for different planting arrangements, making it ideal for herbs.

Haddonstone has also created a new version of the Dauphin Fountain with a Wood Nymph Mask. This stylish self-circulating fountain features bold scroll details and a half octagonal pool.

Alongside the new designs, Haddonstone's exhibit will feature an array of existing planters, statues and other architectural features including the Gothic Arch as well as several Pebble Bowl water features from the Arcadian range.

On the first day of the GLEE exhibition Haddonstone will be presenting its highly sought after annual Stockist Awards for the sixth year running. The awards celebrate the hard work and pride that goes into selling Haddonstone's ornamental products.

This year there will be three different awards - "Best Display", and two new awards, "Most Promising New Stockist" and "Consistent Best Performer Over Five Years".

The "Most Promising New Stockist" is an award for the stockist who has shown an encouraging start in representing Haddonstone's ornamental product range.

The "Consistent Best Performer Over Five Years" has been introduced to recognise stockists who have continually made an outstanding contribution to presenting and selling Haddonstone's product range.

Displays are judged on performance in six categories - product mix, condition of stone, display, planting, labelling and overall effect.

Last year's overall winner was Scotsdale Garden Centre in Cambridgeshire who achieved the award for the best Haddonstone display.

The judging took place at the end of August and the awards will be presented at Haddonstone's exhibit in Hall 4, Stand E10/F11 at 12 noon on Sunday, September 21st at the GLEE exhibition.

Haddonstone's standard collection ranges from cast stone planters, fountains, sundials and bird baths to balustrading, columns, lawn edges and follies.

Full details can be seen at http://www.haddonstone.com/ or in the company's inspirational 200-page catalogue, which is available on Haddonstone's exhibit at GLEE. Telephone 01604 770711 for further information.
