Neater lawns and borders? It's elementary, says Spear & Jackson
Published:  20 September, 2008

Spear & Jackson's Elements range includes some great value tools to keep lawns and edges in great shape over the summer months. Suitable for the occasional gardener the Elements trio of garden rake, aerator and edging knife provides the user with the necessary firepower to get on with the job.

Like most tools in the range, the rake and edging knife feature weather-proofed ash wood shafts for greater durability. Both have heat-treated carbon steel heads which are hammer finished and epoxy-coated to improve long term resistance to rust, scratches, humidity and alkalines in the soil and provide years of trouble-free use.

The aerator stands handily tall at around 93cm to provide a comfortable working height, and the strong epoxy-coated carbon steel frame has a robust foot bar for easy insertion into soil. It also features five hollow obliquely-ended tines that "core" the ground for maximum aeration, with spoil being discharged with the next tread-down.

To support the range, Spear & Jackson offers an Elements merchandising stand, giving resellers an opportunity to display the complete range in a comprehensive and impactful manner.
