Twenty one-year-old Kelly Stocks from Market Deeping saw Christmas arrive early when she became the national winner of the Notcutts £500 shopping spree. An excited Kelly visited Notcutts Garden Centre in Oundle Road, near Nene Park, Peterborough, on Saturday, December 8th for her massive spend.
"I was so excited when I heard I was going shopping at Notcutts," said Kelly. "I love the garden centre at this time of year with all its Christmas decorations and presents. It is very jolly."
The Christmas competition took place at all 13 Notcutts garden centres during October and November. Visitors to the garden centres had to answer 10 questions about Notcutts Christmas products. Kelly's form was the first correct entry to be pulled out of the bag.
"I was over the moon when I heard that the winner was a Peterborough garden centre customer," said Tina Graham, Notcutts garden centre manager. "Well done to Kelly. She was really enjoying her shopping spree. I was quite envious of her because I would love to win £500 to spend in the store."
