Spear & Jackson sharpens up knife act
Published:  20 October, 2008

Spear & Jackson has added a collection of four utility knives to its comprehensive range of hand tools. The range incorporates a number of refinements designed to appeal to the hard working professional tradesperson, while delivering a useful sales and profit opportunity to retailers.

The top of the range auto feed and sport models feature a heavy duty zinc alloy body with slip resistant grip, push-button blade removal and automatic blade reload. Both models have an integral blade storage compartment and are supplied with 10 and eight blades respectively.

The heavy duty version is designed to fit the hand and maintain a firm grip when tackling tough materials such as carpeting, roofing felt and vinyl; while its hinged body facilitates rapid blade change. A standard retractable model completes the line-up.

For display purposes each knife comes in individual clear polypropylene packaging, with backing card insert, which allows customers to view the product but not physically tamper with the knife. All products are supplied in counter top merchandisers of 10 pieces.
