Stagecraft put theatre back into retailing
Published:  14 November, 2008

Leading garden centre design and shopfit company Stagecraft is aiming to bring theatre to garden centres with a new merchandising concept which was introduced at Glee.

In partnership with The Garden Works company, Stagecraft has developed the Stagecraft theatre - a simple cubed stage display which makes it easy for retailers to plan, implement and maintain both indoor and outdoor lifestyle displays and helps consumers easily identify what materials they need to re-create their own garden inspired lifestyle.

The theatre stage concept can be fully utilised around the store and throughout the seasonal year. They are ideal for presenting inspiring indoor and outdoor displays to support: Indoor fashion with houseplants; Themed Christmas displays; Dress up your plants centre; Hanging basket/container demonstration theatre; Outdoor cooking stage - grow it, cook it, eat it.

Retailers can create their dream, using the theatre and props, which are supplied flat packed for easy assembly and can be quickly re-sited around the garden centre. They are available with customised fabric graphic sails, vertical mesh grids and POS kits to help complement a retailer's own branding and themes.
