Vital Earth expands range with two new composts
Published:  01 February, 2008

Following its 2006 launch of the Vital Earth and Genie ranges of organic, peat free garden feeds and soil improvers, all made by recycling garden waste and blending it with naturally produced nutrients, Vital Earth has now added two new products - Rose, Tree and Shrub Compost and Tub and Basket Compost.

This expands the original offer bringing it closer to being a one-stop-shop for 100 per cent natural, 100 per cent sustainable and 100 per cent UK-sourced green growing media. Like the launch range, both new products benefit from added Vitalizer®, Vital Earth's natural nutrient blend which carries the memorable strapline, "The Aphrodisiac for Plants"®.

Vital Earth's Rose, Tree and Shrub Compost is ideal for planting out container-grown or bare-rooted trees, shrubs, conifers and roses. It contains a rich mix of humus, essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorous, potash and magnesium and trace elements like iron to help the plant become established and to feed it for its first year of growth.

Vital Earth products are all 100 per cent recycled, and made entirely from composted green materials and co-products of the forestry and food industries.
