Vital Earth launches two types of Mulch

As part of the expansion of its organic, peat-free range, based on recycled garden waste, Vital Earth has launched two types of bark mulch.

This brings the total range to over 30 products, making it the only one stop shop for 100% natural, 100% sustainable and 100% UK-sourced green garden products.

Consumers will have a choice of two mulches: one, Bark Chips, made from UK conifer bark and the other, the even more decorative, Pine Bark Chips, made purely from UK pine. Both products, developed specially for moisture conservation and weed suppression, are FSC compliant, size-graded to 8-35 mm, and entirely free from chemicals and foreign matter.

Both have been thoroughly processed to achieve a product which is also free from pathogens, pests and weed seeds.

Bark Chips are medium brown and have a pleasant mild conifer odour.

They are available in 60 litre packs with a rrp of £5.99.

Pine Bark Chips have a dark golden brown colour, a mild pine odour and come in 60 litre packs with an rrp of £7.99.
