Retailers reap rewards as new packaging makes sales soar
Published:  12 May, 2009

Retailers are seeing sales of Bayer Garden products soar. Sally Spicer of Scotsdale Garden Centre said:

"The growth in sales is incredible.

It really proves that putting a bit of effort into understanding shoppers and finding out what helps them make the final decision to purchase pays dividends. Bayer Garden has definitely got its packaging strategy right and we are reaping the rewards."

Tommy Gill, head of Bayer Garden explained: "We spent time and money researching the behaviour of shoppers; what helps them make the final purchase decision and why they so often walk away with nothing despite having identified their need. We took this information and translated it into innovative new packaging and these figures make it clear we got the design right."
