New appointment at Interpet
Interpet is delighted to announce that Mark Hoskins has been promoted from Sales Director to the position of Commercial Director, reporting directly into Central Garden & Pet.
Published:  01 July, 2011

Mark has been in the pet and aquatic industry all his working life. Having joined Interpet in Field Sales at the age of eighteen years old, Mark brings a wealth of sector experience to the role, including supply chain, operations and sales, as well as in-depth insight into the pet and aquatic industry.

Interpet offers one of the largest pet and aquatic product ranges in the UK, incorporating ten successful brands. As part of Central Garden & Pet – a leading innovator, marketer, distributor and producer of quality branded products in the garden and pet supplies industries – Interpet continuously reviews it brands and business to enhance its products and services and ensure it continues to bring high-quality, innovative products to market. This appointment forms part of a business restructure which reflects the increasingly close relationship Interpet has with the Central Garden & Pet group since it was purchased in 2004. As one of the largest suppliers and distributors to the trade in the US, Central Garden & Pet appreciates the importance of the UK market and the influential role Interpet plays.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity. My knowledge and experience of the Interpet business and pet and aquatic industry will further align Interpet with Central Garden & Pet,” explains Mark Hoskins. “It is significant that the UK is recognised as an increasingly important market and I look forward to spearheading Interpet’s continued growth, now and in the future.”

As part of the business reorganisation, Richard Peters has been made redundant from his position as Managing Director at Interpet. The restructure at  Interpet, like other businesses within the Central group is part of Central’s drive to become a more efficient organisation as it grows, providing positive changes for the businesses and enabling Central to maintain its high level of new product development and market driving innovation.
