Grand Hall has Grand Designs for UK BBQ Market
Mr Simon Gregory has been appointed Director of Grand Hall UK Ltd, a subsidiary of the Dutch parent company Grand Hall Europe.
Published:  11 July, 2011

Incorporated in 1976, Grand Hall has a long and successful history in outdoor dining and is recognised as one of the largest outdoor kitchen, grill and barbecue manufacturers in the world.

With sales in more than 25 countries and five global operations; Taiwan, Netherlands, Dallas, China and Australia, the company has an impressive worldwide turnover of $150,000,000 (US). Gregory has worked in the garden industry for over 10 years with previous roles including Sales Director for Outback Barbecues where he was instrumental in the launch of its successful Elite range. Over the last four years he has worked as a consultant to the industry, most recently working with Marco Pierre White.

Gregory says: “I am delighted to be leading the new, dedicated Grand Hall operation in the UK. The brand is well known worldwide for its quality and innovative use of technology that make its grills up to 40% more energy efficient than its competitors, a feature that will appeal to consumers as fuel prices increase and affect the cost of bottled gas too. In an increasingly competitive market, Grand Hall will offer retailers an interesting alternative to existing brands at all price points.

“Our R&D is based in Australia, the homeland of barbecue cooking and so you can be assured that Grand Hall outdoor kitchen and grills are developed and tested by the experts,” he explains. “We have also developed a pricing model that will offer retailers the best margins in the industry combined with a product that will please their customers time and time again.”

Grand Hall works to provide the best satisfaction to its retailers and their customers. Its employees are committed to providing the finest professional assistance and advice to create a reliable partner to work with at all times. In addition, Grand Hall China is a stakeholder in the company which minimises the disruption that can sometimes be associated with the country’s annual festivals and holidays.

Grand Hall will launch its UK range at GLEE 2011. As well as unveiling three entirely new gas barbecue ranges, the stand will feature existing models from its worldwide ranges including E-Grill, Maxim, Odeon and its premium X Series designed by Porsche Design Studio and engineered by Porsche Engineering Group GMbH. Also new to the UK is an innovative new energy efficient patio heating system perfectly suited for use on garden patios, in cafés, verandas and balconies – and won’t blow over!
