Solus donated over 450 key rings from its Woodland Wilf range of garden collectibles to each person involved in the record attempt named ‘Gnome Time’ organised by BBC Hereford & Worcester, which aimed to gather the most amount of people dressed as garden gnomes in one venue at one time.
The previous record was held at 331 people, meaning the 478 strong crowd of people gathered in the foyer of Malvern Theatres on 18th November have hopefully ‘smashed’ the World Record by some margin, as well as raising money for BBC Children in Need. This new record is currently being verified. Colin Smart, Solus Brand Marketing Manager said, “Congratulations to all those involved, the event was a great success, not only in terms of breaking the record but in raising funds for such a worthy charity. We were pleased to able to make it even more memorable for those that took part.”
