Town & Country enjoying bumper footwear sales
Town & Country is reporting record sales for its premium wellingtons - the company sold more footwear during the period October to December 2011 than it did for the whole of last year.
Published:  06 February, 2012

Barry Page, Chief Executive, puts it down to one thing - quality.  He says:  “We believe that with our Premium Wellington range we have the best quality boot currently available on the market.  With a price tag of just £39.99 for a boot that is British designed and hand crafted from natural rubber - and the equivalent competitor product retailing at over twice the price - our Wellingtons represent extremely good value for money.  We are continually investing in footwear to improve the quality of the fit and the durability, and consumers literally are voting with their feet.”

There are four colours in the Premium Wellington range - navy, green, raspberry and the new Chocolate Brown which has recently been introduced.

Helping to boost the footwear sales are the popular dotty wellingtons which were launched at last year’s GLEE and continue to knock spots of the competition.
