Squire’s Garden Centres head office, based in Badshot Lea, has raised £850 for the local charity Post 19.
The money was raised by staff holding various events throughout 2015, such as raffles, cake sales and a dress down day.
Farnham-based Post 19 is a charity that helps young adults with learning difficulties. Their programme of community activities encompasses life skills, leisure and social skills, including horticultural activities that are carried out in the local community. The money raised by Squire’s will go towards funding these activities, which provide young adults with a real sense of achievement.
