Top gardening names come together to support ‘Big Day Out’

Big Day Out LogoTHREE top gardening names have come together to support the inaugural Big Day Out at Kate Humble’s farm in Monmouthshire on July 4, 2015.

Westland Horticulture, Unwins Seeds and Birds & Bees will sponsor the festival line-up, which now includes television celebrities, award-winning chefs, fantastic live music, feathered film stars and lots, lots more.

Must-see acts at the festival include: Nation’s favourite choir master Gareth Malone OBE, Harry Potter bird trainer Lloyd Buck and his feathered acting friends, cookery author Genevieve Taylor, Dallas Campbell from Bang Goes The Theory and The Gadget Show, Matt Tebbutt from Channel 4’s Drop Down Menu and Food Unwrapped and one half of the Fabulous Baker Brothers.

All three gardening names will have a strong presence at the all-day outdoor festival. A stand, educational gardening talks and giveaways of flower and vegetable seeds, gardening produce and bird food are all planned for festival go-ers.

Westland Horticulture is one of the leading horticultural companies in the UK creating unique and innovative gardening products. The Northern Irish firm produces a variety of gardening products, including compost, feeds, fertilisers, seeds and wild bird food.

Birds & Bees is a range of bird and bee-friendly products with environmental credentials.
