Following expansion of its garden range, including the addition of new sizes of water butts and watering cans this year, UK manufacturer Whitefurze Ltd has opened a second state-of-the-art warehouse in the locale of Coventry.
Expansion into the new facility has increased the company’s storage capacity by 36%. The additional space will allow for continued business growth and product development, including new product launches planned for 2015.
Managing Director Philip Lanni explains: “We are now in an even better position to respond quickly to customer needs and capitalise on the growing demand for our products”.
The company also wanted to limit the environmental impact of its second warehouse, choosing to install LED lights with PIR sensors which only activate lighting when motion is detected. This will significantly lower the impact of emissions produced by the facility.
