From hanging thousands of baubles and labelling boxfuls of ornaments to building partition walls and painting festive scenes, The Gardens Group director Louise Burks and her team are preparing for the centres’ much-anticipated and award-winning Christmas displays, which will be unveiled at a number of special open evenings throughout October.
Speculation is already building, but as always this year’s themes will be kept tightly under wraps right up until the big reveal.
Christmas display open evenings:
Poundbury Gardens, Dorchester – Tuesday October 4
Brimsmore Gardens, Yeovil – Tuesday October 11
Castle Gardens, Sherborne – Wednesday October 19
The Gardens Group has won the Garden Centre Association’s Best Christmas Display Award six times in the past seven years, and the team are hoping for more success this year.
