He will be heading up a new venture within the garden industry which is scheduled for launch in 2014.
Commenting on this new initiative, Davies said “The garden industry has seen considerable change in the supply chain over the last 12 months. Retailers at all levels have been concerned regarding continuity of supplies. The new business, which has sound financial backing and support from one of the leading players in the industry, will focus on developing quality products and high levels of customer service. It will be managed by respected and seasoned garden industry professionals who share my drive and passion for the business. At this time next year the business will be a major force within the garden industry.”
Davies will be joined by Andy Abraham, former National Accounts Controller of Solus who has worked alongside Nick for 19 years.
Due to the planned scale of the business, Davies and his management team will spend the next several months developing the infrastructure for the new venture. Further details will be released in due course
