Finnforest, one of the leading manufacturers of timber garden structures and outdoor living solutions, has supplied one of its Finnlife log cabins for a new BBC garden makeover show presented by DIY expert and TV personality, Nick Knowles.
As part of the makeover of a garden in Ilford, Essex, the Mokki log cabin, which was erected by Finnforest’s specialist installation team, formed the key focal point. Once in place, the cabin was decorated to help it blend in with the existing surroundings, helping to create an established appearance in the intimate garden space.
The aim of the show, led by Nick Knowles, was to design a space that would attract more wildlife to the garden, with the log cabin central to the finished project. In this way it provides a comfortable vantage point from which the owners can enjoy the new garden.
The Mokki cabin, measuring around 4m by 3m, offers plenty of versatile room away from the main house, and can be used throughout the year in a multitude of ways such as a home office, gym, summerhouse or entertainment room.
