Garden Connect launches four new websites

Garden Connect has announced the launch of four new websites for its customers. As part of the ongoing improvements, three redesigns have been made and a brand new webshop has been launched as well.

Slemish Landscape Centre, based in Northern Ireland, just launched its new webshop on www.slemishlandscapecentre.com. The Sage POS integrated webshop can be used by retail and trade customers. Trade customers are able to purchase their products for their own agreed rates and account while retail customers have to pay online. The business focusses on landscaping products and gardening tools and is offering a wide range of products in its webshop.

Garden Connect has made the design of the website, is working on the search engine optimization and made the integration with the Sage POS back office.

The Barn Garden Centre in Oundle has been using the Garden Connect services for almost five years. The new website, www.thebarngardencentre.co.uk is reflecting the brand in a new and modern way. The most important product groups are easy to find and the website is fresh, welcoming and ready for summer!

Another long-time customer is Lyndhurst Garden Centre, located in Skegness. Apart from a garden centre, Lyndhurst is having a landscaping division and country park. The homepage of the website www.lyndhurstgardencentre.co.uk reflects the three areas of the business in a clear way. Garden Connect is providing the news and gardening tips to Lyndhurst to make sure the website is never out of date.

Last but not least: Caerphilly Garden Centre, located in Southern Wales, has refreshed its website on www.caerphillygardencentre.co.uk as well. The website shows information about the garden and outdoor products the centre is offering and information about the restaurant.

Garden Connect has also announced the introduction of live chat support to all its users.

The Garden Connect content management system is well known for its flexibility and is easy to use, but with the number of options growing some users may need some support to get the most out of it. How to set up mixed match promotions in a webshop? How do you upload a video slider to a homepage? Or how can you use the SEO tricks available in the CMS? It’s easy to do these things – if you know where to look.

Monica Vink is responsible for customer support at Garden Connect UK. She commented: “A lot of users don’t want to bother us with questions if they can’t find something or if they are unsure how to do specific things within the CMS provided. However, we’re happy to help. The new live chat is a very easy way to ask a quick question to our team.”

The live chat support will be available during office hours. “We are monitoring the incoming chats and can amend the hours if required,” Monica noted. “We’re also using the questions we get via our chat to check if we have manuals available, which are mostly the case. The manuals and instruction videos are available 24/7.”

Every user can use the live chat support without additional costs. Monica added: “We truly believe helping customers get the most out of their website and webshop is beneficial for garden centres as well as for ourselves.

“We know many online marketing agencies charge customers for support provided but we feel that we should help a lot more. Building a website is just the starting point of a long-term relationship and providing free live support to users is a reflection of how we feel business should operate nowadays.”
