Glee Landscaping & Garden Design gets set for a busy 2013 show

The show’s dedicated Landscaping and Garden Design section is on course to offer buyers an unmissable opportunity to meet some of the industry’s biggest names and niche suppliers, as it is confirmed that a host of companies have already confirmed their attendance at the 2013 show.

Demand for space at the show has been positive, and Glee organisers have confirmed that their continued effort to deliver a more focussed, relevant and cost effective event than ever before has already yielded exceptional results.

Key brands such as Albany Sheds, Abitquackers, Apta, Deco-Pak, Eden Greenhouses, Global Stone, Grange Fencing, Haddonstone, Kelkay, M&M Timber, Meadow View Stone, Strata Stones, Vivid Arts, Woodlodge and VegTrug are just some of the suppliers that will be revealing their 2014 ranges at September’s show.

A truly inspirational product showcase

Set to display a wide range of products to meet every garden’s landscaping needs, including key products and materials such as garden buildings and aggregates, fencing and timber essentials, soft landscaping, paving, water features, statuary, garden features and decorative pots, Glee Landscaping & Garden Design will undoubtedly provide the visual focus of the show.  What’s more, it will also be the place to spot future garden landscaping trends, innovative new products and the next top-selling product.

i2i’s Glee event manager, Matthew Mein said: “Glee is the annual hub for the UK garden retail industry and this year it will once again supply the landscaping and garden design products, trends and business advice that will allow garden retailers and suppliers to make the most of every market opportunity.

“The show is set to be a showcase for some of the biggest brands and niche suppliers from across the industry.  We’ve no doubt that any garden designer, landscaper or builders’ merchant attending will be pleased with the variety and quality of exhibitors on offer.  Not only this but they will also be amongst the first to see the latest trends and new products from the widest selection of brands – helping them to get ready for the 2014 season with the strongest product sources possible.”

Looking ahead to the 2013 show, Matthew reveals that colour is set to be a key theme within Landscaping & Garden Design.  He said: “Last year Glee Landscaping & Garden Design was flooded with exciting new pot and statuary designs.  This year I believe a key theme will be colour.  Lots of the exhibitors I have spoken to have mentioned colour making a huge comeback in the garden – from exterior paints and coloured timber, to unique gravel and exterior stoneware textures and lines.  Look out for an expanded colour palette across all areas of garden design, as consumer tastes continue to expand across both traditional and contemporary spectrums.”
