Kleen-Tex Holdings (UK) Ltd., the UK subsidiary of Kleen-Tex in Europa GmbH, has announced the acquisition of residential doormat brand owner and marketer The Turtle Mat Company Ltd.
Kleen-Tex in Europa managing director Jürgen Teubenbacher commented: “With Turtle Mats, we are gaining a strong retail brand for our company portfolio, especially in the UK market. For both companies, there are very positive synergies – on sales, marketing, and distribution.”
The brands enjoy a shared mission to provide tried, trusted and innovative products to their customers and with a focus on excellent customer service, Kleen-Tex adds.
Turtle Mat has a thriving e-commerce and mail-order business, the company says, and over 300 trade customers including John Lewis, Lakeland and Countrywide. The move offers opportunities for Kleen-Tex, a European and global manufacturer of high quality mats, to bring their product offerings into these areas.
