The new concretes will be displayed in Lafarge’s life-size landscaped garden, which has been designed especially for the show and which features many of its innovative products and materials from its Cement and Aggregates businesses.
These ready-to-use concretes have been developed specifically with landscapers and DIYers in mind as they are efficient and easy to use – only requiring the addition of water and no admixtures. Lafarge Cement has launched four new specialist ready-to-use concretes as part of its new range, each with a specific job application in mind. Quickset Concrete should be used where quick concreting is required as it sets in 30 minutes while Repair Concrete is most ideally suited to fix surface areas or holes. High-Strength Concrete is hard-wearing with 40 Newton strength so ideal where high strength is key – such as fixing security fences. Multi-Purpose Concrete, the most flexible product in the new range, can be used for a variety of different uses including laying a pathway.
