Amanda Wallace has been hired to provide additional support for two departments, the David Colegrave Foundation (DCF) and the Media Office.
“I am delighted to be a part of the team at the HTA. The split role offers both diversity and challenge, and I look forward to working in the horticultural industry”, says Amanda. DCF, the UK’s only charitable body dedicated to supporting horticultural students, will particularly benefit from Amanda’s introduction as she works alongside Gerry Hiscock, Charities Manager and the Trustees to further develop the charities’ scholarship programme.
Jeff Colegrave, Chairman of both the DCF and Floranova, the Norfolk-based flower seed breeding company, comments, “The trustees of the DCF are very pleased to welcome Amanda and look forward to working with her. We have many plans to raise greater awareness of the scholarship programme and its developments in order to give further support to students and the growth of the UK’s ornamental horticultural industry.”
