Organisers looking ahead to AQUA 2017

With just under a year to go before aquatics and water gardening trade exhibition AQUA 2017, the show organisers say it is shaping up to be one of the best shows in its history.

Returning exhibitors include AQUA One, Berry Ring, CASCO Pet, Evolution Aqua, Gordon Low, Interpet, Lotus-Atlantis, JMC Aquatics, OASE, Pedigree Aquatics Wholesale, Tetra and Tropical Marine Centre.

The two-day exhibition at Telford International Centre on October 18 and 19, 2017, will have a strong international presence with companies like Eheim and Tunze (from Germany), and Aquadip and Velda (The Netherlands) taking stands. A full list of exhibitors is on the AQUA website, www.aquatelford.co.uk.

Industry figures are already planning for the show, which is staged every two years.

Gordon Low Products director Ruth Low commented: “We are looking forward to next year’s show. As it gets closer you can feel a real buzz within the trade. From our point of view being able to showcase our products at such a prestigious and industry focused event is key to our business.”

OASE UK managing director Chris Wright added: “We are really excited about attending AQUA 2017. The show has been a huge success for us over past few years. We can’t wait to show our valued customers our innovations and new business segments for the first time at next year’s show.”

Tetra marketing manager Ashleigh Pope noted: “We’re always excited to be involved with AQUA as it gives us such a great opportunity to meet with a wide range of retailers. It also allows us to demonstrate our innovative and new product ranges as well sharing our expert knowledge on the latest trends in fishkeeping.”

One of the most popular features during the event is the New Products Showcase, where exhibitors get the chance to unveil their latest launches. A panel of retailers will judge all entries on the first morning of the show before the New Product Awards are handed out to the winners later in the day.

Annie Foord continued: “Companies will be working hard between now and next year’s exhibition to produce new and innovative products and services. So if you’re a retailer or buyer make sure you put the date in your diary. It’s an event you can’t afford to miss.”

AQUA 2017 has also launched a new website, www.aquatelford.co.uk, allowing retailers and buyers to find everything they need to know about visiting AQUA 2017 while exhibitors can post their latest news, including show offers and new products they’ll be launching at the show.
