Purpose-built garden centre Rosebourne, which is currently under construction near Thruxton, attracted more than 250 people to attend its recent open days as part of a recruitment drive.
The management team at Rosebourne are keen to establish the business as a central hub for the local community and are recruiting for over 80 full and part-time roles including apprenticeships.
The two recruitment days gave potential recruits the opportunity to meet key members of the Rosebourne team, find out more about specific vacancies and to learn more about the business.
Rosebourne says it will set a new benchmark in garden centres, creating a premium customer experience with a focus on locally sourced fresh produce, dining, traditional plants and unique gifts. This will be underpinned by the company’s ethos to champion local suppliers, whose produce and craftsmanship will be showcased throughout the centre.
Rosebourne managing director Neville Prest (pictured left) said: “We are delighted with the outstanding calibre of recruits who attended the two Rosebourne recruitment days.
“Our mission is to make Rosebourne a leisure destination that is renowned for food, plant and gift products, underpinned by excellent service. We are dedicated to help build long term careers at Rosebourne, and we look forward to welcoming our new employees.”
