Manufacturer of timber sheds, fencing panels, outside storage units and decorative garden products, Forest Garden Limited, has announced that is has been chalking up record breaking numbers of home deliveries, reflecting the increased demand through online sales.
The company operates a branded fleet in excess of 120 vehicles and hit more than 1,300 individual home deliveries in a single day in May – the star performers were garden sheds and the company’s new range of small storage units.
Forest Garden head of marketing Nicola Simpson commented: “We’ve certainly seen the season start later this year due to the weather but customers are definitely out in their gardens now.
“Online sales are growing very rapidly and as a business we’ve put significant strategic and financial investment into making sure our customers get the best possible experience. Customers are comfortable shopping online for our products and in return we’re able to offer delivery within 3-5 days at a time slot chosen by them.”
