Turf supplier Rolawn added premium quality topsoil in a bulk bag to its range approximately 15 years ago; the business is now celebrating the sale of its one millionth bag.
Rolawn’s range has evolved to include task specific topsoil mixes for turf laying, growing of vegetables and fruit, and for planting schemes in beds and borders, with added benefits such as increased fertility levels and water retentive polymers. This year sales of bulk bags of bark have been particularly strong, helping achieve the significant milestone ahead of schedule.
The Travis Perkins branch in Peterborough were the lucky recipients of the ‘golden bag’. Branch manager Paul Marsh commented: “We are really pleased to be the customer who bought the millionth bag, the product and service from Rolawn is always good, and the product sells itself. What more could you ask for?”
