After 5 very successful years, the Summer and Outdoor Living Exhibition has out-grown the fantastic venue at the Telford International Centre, and been obliged to move to the much larger National Exhibition Centre at Birmingham. The show was going to be in Hall 4, but due to the hugely positive response from members, the show has had to me moved to the largest single hall in the complex, Hall 5.
This year all the stands will be collocated in a single hall making it much easier for the Visitor to negotiate the hall, and find the stands that they wish to visit. Everyone will enter through the ‘New Product’ gallery, which is the members’ opportunity to showcase to visitors their brand new designs for 2014. There are at least 10 new member exhibitors this year, and an additional eight companies showing for the first time in the very popular Enterprise Zone, for newcomers to the Outdoor Leisure market!
There is free car parking for all visitors at the NEC, as well as very good rail and air links from all over the country, as well as from Europe. The on-site hotel, the Crowne Plaza has special rates for all visitors to the show, so if you want to come for two days, and make it a full visit, the opportunity is there.
There are many old friends exhibiting at the show, as well as a number of new entrants in the market and this is the first opportunity for you to see the new designs for 2014. If you only go to one show with Outdoor Furniture and Barbecues this year, make it SOLEX, the number one show for Outdoor Living! The Enterprise zone gives new candidate companies the opportunity to show their products to buyers and get a foot on the ladder to membership of LOFA and a space in the full show.
