The team at a Bradford garden centre are celebrating after being shortlisted for a prestigious regional tourism award.
Tong Garden Centre has reached the final in the Outstanding Customer Service category of the Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards for its exemplary customer service.
The independent garden centre, acquired in 2015 by Mark Farnsworth and Tom Megginson, is one of seven finalists that includes prestigious businesses Yorebridge House and Beck Hall, Malham.
The Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards honour Yorkshire’s £8 billion a year tourism economy and are the largest celebration of tourism excellence in the UK. The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony in November.
Tong Garden Centre co-owner Mark Farnsworth said: “Creating outstanding customer experiences by delivering exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything we do here at Tong.
