Town & Country Gloves shortlisted for RHS Chelsea Award

The gloves are made from 100% bamboo with the palm and fingertips featuring a protective nitrile coating.  Bamboo is one of nature’s most sustainable sources and produces a luxuriously soft fabric that has many attributes.  As well as being naturally hypoallergenic, bamboo has antibacterial qualities and biodegrades quicker than synthetic fabrics.  It is also produces a very strong and flexible fabric which makes it perfect for gardening gloves – providing wearers with superior comfort, excellent grip and dexterity when tackling gardening tasks.

The RHS Chelsea Product of the Year Award was first introduced in 2011 and is designed to recognise the very best new garden products at this year’s Show.  The judges will be looking for innovation, visual appeal, functionality, quality and value for money and environmental sustainability. Town & Country is one of just 13 companies to reach the coveted shortlist – the winner will be announced at the show on Press Day, Monday, 20th May.
