Billed as the national showcase for the motorhome and caravan industry, over 100,000 people attended the show held over 6 days. Weber’s own chefs from the Weber® barbecue cookery school, The Grill Academy™, were out in force sharing their passion and expertise in a series of camper-friendly demonstrations on the cookery stage.
Spectators were shown how to make the best of breakfasts, an easy lunch and tasty dinner all on the barbecue with little effort and great results. Chefs Richard and Dan included a range of barbecue techniques from roasting to grilling and baking, all you need for a perfect for life on the road!
The demonstrations showed just what you can cook on a portable grill, other than the standard burger and sausages. Big enough to feed either a couple or a family, easy to transport and store make these the ideal cooking tool for camping, caravanning or spending time in your motorhome.
English Chef Ed Baines, a judge on Britain’s Best Dish, also took to the stage to cook on the Weber® barbecues, showing the adaptability of the One-Touch® Premium 57cm charcoal barbecue and the Genesis® E-330 gas model. His Bunny Chow Beef curry with sweet chutney and Raita, Roasted Spatchcock Chicken Dutch oven style and chocolate fudge cake caused more than a few mouths to water amongst the audience.
